A common theme that appears in my travel bucket list is places of whimsey and magic. I love the idea of exploring nature, seeing the world as God intended us to view it, with wonder and awe! I have been obsessed with the idea of the Northern Lights since I first saw them in a Christmas picture as a little kid and have made it a life-long quest to catch just a glimpse of them! There is not better place to view them then in Iceland, plus Island is the island of Fire and Ice, allowing for some incredible sightseeing, hiking, and even thermal experiences.
I have heard several people talk about wanting to see the Northern Lights and having the opportunity to visit Iceland. I finally connected the dots and realized that if this is on not only my bucket list, but several others, working in the travel industry, maybe I should just make it happen!
